Red Filter Flashlights anyone?

So I have been trying to gather up some last minute items before my bright and early flight Sunday and it's proving to be a little more complicated than I had imagined. I am supposed to bring a flashlight with a red filter so I can creep on the turtles at night w/o blinding them =) I had a fabulous conversation with some scheels experts yesterday, but they really were no help...So, today I am in search!! If you have any tips let me know! ps mosquito nets are actually fairly cheap. It shall be an adventure sleeping in one, but I think I'll survive.

Hey ya'll!

Just thought I'd let you know that I do not leave until the 31st of May, but wanted to get this up and running before. I'm hoping I can update this about once a week, but it all depends on the availability when I am in Costa Rica. It should be pretty exciting and something totally different so I hope you enjoy the ride just as much as me =)

Pre-departure thoughts...

I can't believe I'm leaving so soon! Things are getting a little overwhelming, but coming together. I've had all my shots, getting my medicines together, getting some sun and just need to pack up. I'm getting so excited! I know the culture shock is going to set in the minute I arrive, but it's all going to be worth it! I'll continue to keep you updated.
